Hydroclimate Research

Turning data into information, information into knowledge, knowledge into understanding, and understanding into wisdom.

Monitoring and predicting drought at subseasonal to seasonal time scales can help to mitigate the drought impacts. Understanding the predictability and developing methods to improve the forecast capability are an essential area of our research.

One important aspect of climate change impact assessment is to quantify the change and uncertainties at regional scale and the impacts on agriculture, energy, health and environment.
